AWARENESS LECTURE ON WORLD AIDS DAY BY ONGC 01 December 2023
Every year, on 1 December, the world commemorates WORLD AIDS Day. People around the world unite to show support for people living with and affected by HIV and to remember those who lost their lives to AIDS. The inequalities which perpetuate the AIDS pandemic are not inevitable; we can tackle them.
A very informative and enlightening session on HIV and AIDS was organized in the Sansthan on the occasion of WORLD AIDS DAY on 01 December 2023. The Theme of the year 2023 for WORLD AIDS DAY is “Let communities lead” which urges each of us to address the inequalities holding back progress in ending AIDS. The program was an effort of the ONGC Hospital.
The very interesting lectures were given by Mr. Anil Singh Rawat.The lectures was presented in a very light and engaging way so that thestudents could relate to it instantly.
Book marks, pamphlets containing information about AIDS and ribbons were distributed among the students to raise awareness. It was very informative and encouraging for the students.
