Creativity needs vision, which can be best seen through Garments. With the advent of globalisation &technology, the garment industry is progressing with leaps and bounds creating enormous employment opportunities.

This course includes stitching, designing, detailing, finishing the garment and impart training on the technical aspect of garment manufacturing machinery. The focus is on the technological aspects for machinery utilised in apparel industry in addition to pattern making, fashion illustration, textile science, basic designing and garment construction. The students learn the skill set to build a bright career in the garment Industry.

Admission

Admission in diploma courses for polytechnic is made through JEEP (joint entrance examination ) conducted by UBTE Roorkee in the month of May every year. Application forms of JEEP are made available by UBTE Roorkee during the period of January - February at at all polytechnics. Candidates selected in the entrance exam are allotted institutes as well as course of their choice on the basis of the rank attained by them through online counseling.
Direct admissions are done for Management seats. Candidate should contact Sansthan office for admission details.
