Prime Minister Narendra Modi had kicked off the 'Swachh Mandir’ campaign across the country with an aim to make pilgrimage sites pristine. He urged the people nationwide, to kick off a cleanliness campaign at smaller pilgrimage sites starting from Makar Sankranti (January 14). The mission of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to initiate the objective amongst the citizens to be aware of the cleanliness of our place of worship and keep our temples clean was very well taken by our Sansthan.
The students of B S Negi MPPS enthusiastically participated in the Swachh Mandir drive to clean the Tapkeshwar temple and its surrounding area on 21 January 24.
A team of about 20 girls volunteered to be a part of the group along with the students of other colleges under the aegis of Nitya Nand Swami Jan Sewa Trust. The students did a commendable job in cleaning the temple and the area around and were appreciated by the Temple committee.
