SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP 25-August-2023

We are all aware that- Protection of Environment in the present context is the piquant need of the hour for the sustenance and survival of human beings on this planet. The Sansthan in collaboration with Eco Group Society had organized a workshop for the students of B S Negi MPPS on 25 August 2023 to learn about SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT, work towards Mission Zero Waste and be a part of the project of Smart City Doon. Eco Group Society is a leading NGO working for awareness of waste management in Dehradun city. The major objective of the workshop was to help us learn to segregate our wastes into four different categories such that each form of waste is recycled for a productive purpose. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Ashish Garg and Mr. Anil Kumar Mehta, andwas very beneficial to the students and faculty. They explained the various ways to use the waste gainfully and to keep the environment clean and healthy. The students reassured for keeping their surroundings clean and actively participate in the waste management in neighbourhood.
