SESSION ON AWARENESS ON NEP (2020)

As part of the Innovation Cell’s celebration activities, an informative session on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 was conducted on August 13, 2025, at B.S. Negi MPPS. The session aimed to create awareness among students about the key reforms introduced under NEP 2020 and their implications on higher education, skill development, and innovation.

The speaker from SCERT, Mr. Manoj Kishore Bahugana, discussed how NEP 2020 promotes flexible learning pathways, multidisciplinary education, holistic student development, and a strong emphasis on innovation and entrepreneurship. Special focus was given to how these reforms align with the goals of the Institution's Innovation Cell. Presently Mr. Bahugana is engaged in developing books for Class 1 and 2 as per the recommendations of NEP 2020 and NCF FS 2023 or in other words implementation of NEP 2020 in all aspects in the state of Uttarakhand.
Students were encouraged to embrace the opportunities offered under the policy—such as internships, skill-based learning, and project-based assessments—to enhance their academic and career readiness.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, where students expressed enthusiasm and curiosity about the evolving education landscape. This could only be made possible through the unwavering guidance and constant inspiration of our esteemed Principal, Mrs. Namita Mamgain, whose visionary leadership continues to illuminate the path toward growth and excellence.
