A workshop on Product Market Fit, Prototype/Process Design, and MVP Development was successfully conducted
for the students of B. S. Negi MPPS on 17th March 2026. The session was led by Ms. Ella Garg, who provided
valuable insights into the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and product development.
The primary objective of the workshop was to introduce students to the concept of creating products that meet
market needs effectively. Ms. Garg began the session by explaining the importance of understanding customer
problems and identifying target audiences. She emphasized that achieving product-market fit is essential for the
success of any product or startup. The workshop further covered the stages of prototype and process design.
Students were guided on how to transform ideas into tangible models using simple and practical approaches. Ms.
Garg encouraged creativity and problem-solving, highlighting that prototypes help in testing ideas before full-
scale production.Another key focus of the session was on Minimum Viable Product (MVP) development. Students
learned how to build a basic version of a product with essential features to validate their ideas in the market.
Through examples and interactive discussions, Ms. Garg demonstrated how MVPs reduce risk and help gather
user feedback efficiently. The workshop was interactive and engaging, with students actively participating in
discussions and activities. The students were grouped as per their assignments and mentored individually as per
their startup product. They were encouraged to think innovatively and work in teams to develop simple product
ideas. The session also helped students understand the importance of iteration and continuous improvement in
product development.
