The students of the Sansthan witnessed the Mohiniyattam dance form at the Raj Bhawan organised by the SPIC MACAY Uttarakhand. The presentation was done by Dr. Neena Prasad., who is an acclaimed dancer. She is an exponent in the field of Mohiniyattam. She is the founder and principal of Bharthanjali Academy of Indian Dances in Thiruvananthapuram and Sougandika Centre for Mohiniyattam in Chennai.
The students had the opportunity to visit the Governor’s House and were thrilled to have a first-hand experience at the Raj Bhawan. The students had an excellent opportunity to interact with the students of other colleges, share the audience space with Hon’ble Governor and the Technical education Secretary Mr. Ravi Raman.
The performance was based on stories for the conservation of the natural resources, the story of the Ras Leela of Radha and Krishna. The actions and expressions were superb and the Auditorium resounded with claps of appreciation. It was a great learning experience for the students of the Sansthan.
