MEDICAL CHECK-UP HEALTH CAMP AT B. S. NEGI MPPS

A health check-up camp was organized at B S Negi MPPS on 15th September 2025 in collaboration with a team of qualified doctors and healthcare professionals from The Hans Foundation. The team included Dr.Deepika Yadav, Dr. Saurabh Kumar,Dr. Bharat Kadri, Dr. Pankaj Bhatt and Mrs. Rama Bisht. The primary objective of the camp was to promote awareness about basic health and hygiene, conduct general health screening, and provide medical advice to students and staff.
Activities Conducted
1. General Health Screening:

Height, weight, vision, and dental checks.

Blood pressure and pulse monitoring.

Assessment of nutritional status and hygiene habits.

2. Specialist Consultations:

General physician consultations.

Identification of common ailments such as anemia, poor eyesight, and dental cavities.

3. Free Medicines Distribution:

Basic over-the-counter medicines were distributed for minor ailments like cold, fever, and acidity.

Teachers & Staff Screened: 35

Mild anemia

Poor oral hygiene

Eye strain due to screen usage

The health camp was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Principal Mrs. Namita Mamgain, who played a pivotal role in its organization. In her address, she expressed heartfelt gratitude to the medical team and the officials of The Hans Foundation for their sincere efforts and commitment in making the camp a success.
