SURVEY OF SITES BY INTERIOR DESIGN DEPARTMENT 10 February 2024
The students of Interior Design are required to do surveys of different building types as a part of their curriculum. In that regard a survey was conducted by the first-year students of Interior Design department on 10 February 2024. The sites were situated at Kargi chowk and Turner Road, Clementown.
At Kargi chowk since the site was under construction, the students could observe the laying of foundation, staircase, masonry work, electrical fittings etc. Another site was also visited by the students at Clementown where there were furnished apartments to observe. The students could see the designs of false ceiling, kitchen interior, sanitary fixtures etc. It was a valuable experience for the students as they were exposed to various aspects of construction and designing which would be used by them in their interior projects.
