INVESTITURE CEREMONY 30 January 2024
The Student Council is an important arm of the educational institution, working together with the teachers, within the framework of the bylaws to provide a means for student expression and assistance in school affairs and activities. The Student Council Committee through a well-established procedure after due diligence had selected a group of 41 students to be a part of the STUDENT COUNCIL for the Academic Session 2023 - 24.
The posts assigned to the students were in accordance with the policies and norms set forward by the Committee. The INVESTITURE CEREMONY for the Student Councilwas solemnised on 30 January 2024 in the Auditorium. The Executive Body of the Student Council consisted of 12 members. The various Committees formed were:- ACADEMIC, CULTURAL, CREATIVE, ART, DISCIPLINE and SPORTS Committee. Each committee consists of five students.
The students were honoured with badges by the Principal Mrs. Namita Mamgain and the Vice Principal. The students took oath of allegiance and acknowledged the responsibility of the post conferred upon them. The Student Council members were cheered by the students and congratulated by the staff members. The ceremony culminated amidst great sense of responsibility and inclusiveness amongst the students.
