the thought-provoking topic, “AI – A Curse or a Boon.” The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from
students of two branches of Sri Guru Ram Rai School of Basic and Applied Science and school of Engineering &

critically analyze the advantages and disadvantages of Artificial Intelligence and present their perspectives
confidently.Participants were divided into teams speaking both in favor of and against the motion. The speakers
advocating AI as a boon highlighted its transformative role in sectors such as healthcare, education, industry,
automation, and research. They emphasized how AI enhances productivity, improves decision-making, and opens
new avenues for innovation and development. On the other hand, the participants speaking against the motion
raised concerns regarding job displacement, data privacy, ethical challenges, overdependence on technology, and
potential misuse of AI systems. They argued that unchecked advancement could lead to serious social and
economic consequences. The competition was marked by well-researched arguments, strong rebuttals, and
confident presentations. The students displayed commendable critical thinking skills, clarity of thought, and
effective communication abilities. The judges appreciated the participants for their depth of knowledge and
