Grand Freshers’ Day Celebration at B.S. Negi MPPS

The campus of B.S. Negi MPPS came alive with color, energy, and youthful excitement on 29th August, as the sansthan hosted a vibrant Freshers’ Day celebration to welcome the new batch of students.
The program commenced with a warm welcome address by senior students , who expressed their joy at receiving the freshers into the sansthan family. The programme included a lighting of the lamp ceremony, symbolizing the light of knowledge and new beginnings.
A major highlight of the Freshers day celebration was the Talent Show Competition, where freshers showcased their unique skills and creative expressions. From soulful singing and energetic dance performances, to sketching and instrumental music, the stage witnessed an impressive display of raw and diverse talent. Towards the end of the programme all the winners of the talent rounds were awarded by the Principal.The winners were: Mitali in Dance,Pooja in singing,Tamanna in Make up,Sadhna in Hair styling,Tashmiya in Mehandi,Singtit in Sketching,Diya on Tabla and Manisha on Harmonium and Saanvi for being Miss Punctuality .
The much-anticipated Miss Freshercontest was held where the participants were judged based on their confidence, presentation, responses in the Q&A round, and overall personality. The winner, Amita Bisht ,was crowned Miss Fresher in a moment filled with applause and celebration. In addition, the title of “Spark of the Day” was awarded to the fresher who stood out with exceptional enthusiasm and charisma throughout the event and was awarded to Diya.
The senior students of B.S. Negi MPPS took it upon themselves to create a festive atmosphere with a series of cultural performances, including classical and modern dance routines. Their efforts not only entertained but also helped bridge the gap between juniors and seniors, promoting unity and a sense of belonging.
The entire day was filled with laughter, cheers, music, and memories. It was not just an event but a heartfelt welcome—a celebration of new beginnings and friendships. The day ended with a sumptuous lunch for all the students.
The esteemed Principal, Mrs. Namita Mamgain, graced the occasion with an uplifting and heartfelt address, warmly welcoming the freshers into the fold. With eloquence and genuine admiration, she lauded the tireless efforts of the organizing team, the spirited participants, and the dedicated teachers, whose seamless collaboration brought to life a celebration that was not only vibrant and joyous, but also deeply meaningful. Her inspiring words set a radiant tone for the year ahead, filling hearts with hope, purpose, and a sense of belonging.
