Fashion Show on Uttarakhand theme at Himgiri Mahotsav
The students of B S Negi MPPS presented a breath-taking FASHION SHOW which was the hall mark of the evening of the HIMGIRI MAHOTSAV 2024 at the Ambedkar Stadium. India boasts rich cultural values and traditions that have been passed down through generations, but there is a concern that these values are losing their impact on the younger generation. This fashion show was dedicated to revitalizing the forgotten designs of the state of Uttarakhand. The showcase involved a fusion of Indo-Western attire that highlights the distinctive beauty of Uttarakhand garments, such as Ghagra Choli, Pichora, Aipan art, cap, and jacket.
The Fashion Show was a showcase of the creativity and innovative ideas of our students who are aspiring to take up fashion designing as their careers. The audience appreciated the Show and encouraged our students in their zeal to present the fusion of the Uttarakhand attire and culture in a slightly modern orientation. The students and teachers worked very hard in preparing and bringing up this show despite the-ongoing semester exams. A big appreciation was extended to the entire team for preparing this show in such challenging circumstances.
