Yoga Mahotsav is a grand celebration of the ancient Indian practice of yoga. “DOON YOGA MAHOTSAV 2024” was organized in B.S NEGI MAHILAPOLYTECHNIC from May 3rd to May 5th, 2024, and witnessed theconvergence of yoga enthusiasts, practitioners, and experts from variousyoga schools and communityThe Mahotsav was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp by Mr. Bhagat SinghKoshiyari former chief minister of Uttarakhand and former Governor ofMaharashtra. His presence added immense value to the event and set a toneof inspiration for all participants. Throughout the Mahotsav, students from various yoga schools showcasedtheir skills and dedication through captivating yoga performances.
These demonstrations not only displayed the physical prowess of the participants but also conveyed the spiritual and mental harmony that yoga cultivates. In addition to the vibrant performances, the Mahotsav featured enlightening lectures on the significance of yoga in modern life. Eminent speakers elucidated the profound benefits of yoga, ranging from physical health and mental well-being to spiritual evolution. These lectures would definitely prove to be fruitful among attendees and inspire them to incorporate its practices into their daily routine. The closing ceremony was done by Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi. On this occasion, Minister Ganesh Joshi also honored the participants who participated in the Yoga Mahotsav. He said that Yoga is the ancient heritage of India, Yoga keeps the body and mind healthy, and it not only increases a person & morale, concentration, and ability to study but also makes them physically and mentally strong. He said that Prime Minister Modi has given a new identity to Yoga in the country and abroad today. The Doon Yoga Mahotsav at our sansthan was a resounding success, bringing together yoga enthusiasts and experts in a celebration of holistic living. Through insightful lectures, captivating performances, and esteemed presence of distinguished personalities, the event reasserted the timeless relevance of yoga in fostering wellness and harmony. It served as a reminder of the rich heritage of yoga and its potential to transform lives for the better.
