BLOOD DONATION CAMP

A significant event took place at the B S Negi MPPS campus as a Blood Donation Camp was organized by the IMA Blood Bank, Uttarakhand on April 25, 2024. Preceding the camp, a motivational session was conducted for the students on April 23, 2024, highlighting the importance of blood donation and providing essential information. This session was not only enlightening but also inspiring.

Donating blood is one of the noblest acts one can perform in their lifetime. Here's why :

• It aids people in need, fostering a sense of community support. By giving, you contribute to the preservation of life. When you give, others live.
• Regular donors play a crucial role in maintaining a stable blood supply for our nation. While many donate in times of crisis, the demand for blood persists every single day.
• Blood has no substitute. Donors are the sole source of life-saving blood for those in critical conditions.
• The process of donation is simple, swift, and convenient. Spending as little as 45 minutes can make an enduring impact on someone else's life.

The students displayed eagerness to participate in blood donation, comprehending its paramount importance. Mr. Sudhir Joshi's motivational discourse resonated deeply, resulting in a substantial number of students volunteering to donate blood.

On the day of the camp, approximately 25 students, 6 faculty members, along with Principal Mrs. Namita Mamgain, graciously donated blood. The IMA Blood Bank team, under the leadership of Mr. Sudhir Joshi and Dr. Ashlesha Bharti, exhibited compassion and encouragement, guiding the students through the donation process with care and reassurance.
