FASHION SHOW: RIWAYAT-E-RESHAM 16 FEBRUARY, 2025

The grand fashion show Riwayat-e-Resham was held with great enthusiasm, showcasing the richness of traditional and contemporary fashion. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest Ritu Khanduri Bhushan , Hon’ble Speaker-Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly & hon’ble MLA Kotdwar,Vidhan Sabha D.Dun.

The show highlighted the craftsmanship and elegance of garments sponsored by the Uttarakhand Cooperative Resham Federation (UCRF).

The event was graced by the benign presence of guests of honour:

The grand opening unveiled a breath-taking runway showcasing a splendid collection of Banarasi sarees—each a true masterpiece of intricate designs, vibrant hues, and impeccable craftsmanship. These exquisite creations were a tribute to heritage and artistry, designed to captivate, inspire.

2. Style Spectrum – "Elevate Your Style with Our Exquisite Silk Suit Drapes"

Featuring intricate designs, vibrant hues, and a smooth, lustrous texture, these exclusive silk ensembles exuded elegance and sophistication.

3.      Urban Aura – "Drapes of Royalty"

A spectacular fashion show celebrating the timeless elegance of silk sarees, styled uniquely as dhoti drapes paired with caps. Our models graced the runway in stunning silk ensembles, embodying the perfect fusion of tradition and contemporary fashion.

. 4. Fashion Flare – "Elegance Unveiled Through a Celebration of Stylized Tradition"

This captivating sequence highlighted the beauty of flowing stoles and exquisite silk kurtis, elegantly paired with long skirts. With their enthusiasm and charisma, the models ignited the atmosphere, infusing it with vibrancy and energy.

.5. Resham Elegance – "Elegance Redefined: A Fashion Extravaganza"

Step into a world of sophistication and refinement—a seamless blend of traditional elegance and contemporary style. Our exquisite collection of tie, cravat, and waistcoat combinations showcases true craftsmanship and exceptional design. This mesmerizing showcase is sure to be the highlight of the event.

The event was proudly sponsored by UCRF, which has been instrumental in promoting and supporting indigenous silk artisans. Their contribution played a crucial role in bringing the exquisite designs to the runway.

Mrs. Savita Kapoor, who inaugurated the newly renovated cafeteria of the Sansthan, expressed her admiration for its achievements and encouraged students to pursue their dreams with greater determination. The renovation of the canteen was made possible through her generous sponsorship from the MLA fund, reflecting her commitment to the institution’s growth and student welfare.

Chief Guest’s Address:
Ms. Ritu Khanduri Bhushan lauded the efforts of the designers, artisans, and organizers for promoting sustainable fashion. She emphasized the importance of preserving traditional textile arts and supporting local craftsmen.
