In compliance with AICTE regulations a workshop on Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) 2013, was organized by the NGO “RESCUE” in the college auditorium on 22nd November 2024. The workshop aimed to raise awareness about key issues such as moral accountability, human trafficking, internet pornography, and the importance of human integrity in society.

The event began with a warm welcome by the college Principal, who highlighted the importance of fostering a safe and ethical environment for all students. Liny Babu shared an overview of their mission and objectives, emphasizing the need for collective action in combating social evils.
The session was followed by another speaker Mrs. Nedhi Titto, who emphasized the role of individuals in promoting ethical behaviour and accountability in personal and professional settings. Case studies were presented to illustrate real-life scenarios, encouraging participants to reflect on their responsibilities.
Experts discussed the global and local prevalence of human trafficking, shedding light on its causes and consequences. Attendees learned about recognizing warning signs, supporting victims, and the legal frameworks in place to prevent such crimes.
The workshop focused on the dangers of unrestricted access to internet pornography, particularly among youth. The speaker emphasized its psychological and societal impacts, advocating for the importance of digital literacy and responsible internet usage.
The concluding session underlined the essence of human integrity in fostering a just and harmonious society. Interactive discussions allowed participants to explore ways to uphold integrity in challenging circumstances. Every one expressed appreciation for the insights gained during the workshop. Many emphasized the importance of such initiatives in promoting awareness and action against social challenges.
