B.S. Negi MPPS, Dehradun, observed Constitution Day on 26th November 2024 with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The event was organized to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India and to instill the values of democracy, justice, equality, and liberty among the students.
The celebration began with a solemn assembly where the principal, Mrs. Namita Mamgain, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of this day in India's history. She spoke about Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, and encouraged students to uphold the fundamental rights and duties as responsible citizens.
Key Highlights of the Program: The Sansthan organised various programs and activities on “Our Constitution” which would instil the feeling of patriotism in the students. These activities were:
Preamble Reading:
The entire school participated in the collective reading of the Preamble of the Constitution, reaffirming their commitment to its principles.
Special Assembly Presentation:
Students delivered speeches and recited poems reflecting the values enshrined in the Constitution.
Quiz Competition:
A quiz on the Indian Constitution was conducted, where students enthusiastically participated, showcasing their knowledge about the Constitution, its articles, and their significance.
Art and Poster Making:
A creative session on "India and the Constitution" allowed students to express their understanding of constitutional values through vibrant posters and drawings.
The highlight of the program was the a pledge that was taken by all present for honouring and upholding the integrity of the Nation
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the principal, teachers, and participants for making the event successful.
