FRESHERS PARTY - FORMAL WELCOME 20th SEPTEMBER 2024

 The Fresher's Party is a much-anticipated event in the academic calendar, designed to welcome new students and create a sense of belonging and camaraderie within the institution. It is a vibrant celebration, where seniors and juniors come together to break the ice, form new friendships, and enjoy a day filled with fun, entertainment, and memorable experiences. This event not only marks the beginning of the academic journey for the new students but also serves as a platform for them to showcase their talents and get acquainted with the campus culture.

The frenzy and energy in the Sansthan could be easily felt as the freshers walked in their beautiful attires swaying happily to step into a new world which would be shaping their future. The programme started with lighting of the lamp and Ganesh Vandana. The reservoir of the talent of the freshers was very evident when few chosen ones took on the stage unleashing their expertise in dancing and singing. To choose the Miss Fresher, the few nominated ones were asked to ramp walk and then the top three were taken through around of Q&A. the spark of the eve was also selected when the freshers ramp walked and showed their confidence and suave walk. The whole programme was punctuated with cultural programmes which were presented by the seniors to entertain the guests and the freshers. The programme was also attended by few eminent guests from the DOON ROTARY SHIVALIK HILLS, Dehradun who very graciously donated 13 sewing machines to the Sansthan to be used by the students of Fashion Design and Garment Technology.

Towards the end of the programme the winners of the talent round, miss Fresher and Miss Spark of the Eve were announced as under:

1.    MISS FRESHER: MS. NIDHI (PGDCA DEPT)

2.    MISS SPARK OF THE EVENT: MS. RANJANA (FD DEPT)

iii) SKETCHING MS PRATIMA (B.Sc. IT )

iv) MAKE UP AND HAIR STYLING 

v) Ms. VARNIKA (F.D )

vi) MEHANDI: Ms. KHUSHBU (F.D

4. BEST SMILE: MS. ANJALI (MOM-SP DEPT)

The programme ended with the warm, compassionate words of the Principal . In her speech she welcomed the Freshers, congratulated all the winners, and encouraged the others to give up their hesitations and be confident to unleash their hidden potentials, this Sansthan being the right place to be at. The day ended with sumptuous lunch for all.

The ice was well - broken as a feeling of harmony and cohesiveness could be felt flowing in the Sansthan.
