Rotary Club of Doon Shivalik Hills – RYLA Programme on 30-10-2025
The Rotary Club of Doon Shivalik Hills organized a Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), an
Interactive club, programme on 30th October 2025 at B.S. Negi MPPS. The programme aimed to nurture
leadership qualities, teamwork, and self-expression among young students.
The event began with a brief inaugural session where the objectives of Rotary were shared by President, Rtn. Sunil Sharma; about RYLA, Interact Club & it’s Vision by Rtn Dr Jagriti Nawan and Health Talk by Rtn Dr. Kamal Nawani. The AG Zone, Rtn. Tapan Kaushik honoured the Principal, Mrs. Namita Mamgain and others with a shawl. Principal, Mrs. Namita Mamgain, extended a warm welcome to the Rotary members, and the spirit of fellowship was evident throughout the gathering.
The day’s activities included two team games designed to enhance coordination, cooperation, and leadership among the students. Students took part with enthusiasm and displayed commendable team spirit and creativity.Following this, a Talent Hunt was conducted, offering students an opportunity to showcase their individual skills and creativity in various fields such fashion styling through garments and Sarees etc. The Fashion show accredited great appreciation from the audience and judges. In the concluding session, members of the Rotary Club addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of leadership, discipline, and service to the community. Certificates and small tokens of appreciation were presented to the participants and winners.
The RYLA programme at B.S. Negi MPPS was a resounding success. It provided an engaging platform for students to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and express their talents. The Rotary Club of Doon Shivalik Hills reaffirmed its commitment to youth empowerment and community development through this meaningful initiative.
