CELEBRATING FAILURES -AN INITIATIVE OF AICTE

The Ministry of Education and Innovation Cell, in collaboration with AICTE, launched a unique initiative titled“Celebrating Failures.”The first episode featuredMayank Bidawatka Co- founder ofKooin conversation withDr. Abhay Jere,Vice Chairman, AICTE and Chief Innovation Officer, Ministry of Education.

Koo, once valued at over $275 million, was a homegrown microblogging platform promoted under Atmanirbhar Bharat.Despite its early success and global reach, the platform shut down in July 2024 due to funding challenges—a powerful example of the highs and lows in entrepreneurship.

The hour-long podcast was watched attentively via YouTube byaround 30 second and final- year design studentsofB.S. Negi MPPSalong with their faculty. The session served as a strong reminder tostay committed to one’s vision despite setbacksand was deeply motivating for all attendees.
